Is it strange to take the picture with teachers?

Since I graduated, I want photos with the team coaches control, which are also manage.They teachers in my school. I'm struggling to muster the courage to ask, as I was still just a manager, not a true athlete. I then prints, framing, and give them as "Remember Me" with the gifts thank you cards. If you only think is weird?

I had my picture with my favorite art teacher and my friend, and I was a funny picture. He died a few months later, so I'm happy.
