Wrestling Youth Tournaments

If we keep our 8 year old son in the struggle of youth?

My 8 year old son is fighting in a youth program. I'm afraid I can not be a good way for him. He loves going to practice and go home and show me all the new moves you've learned. Still better and better, their coaches said it was the best leg one shot by one of the other children 4-14. The problem is that when we go to tournaments, he became very emotional. Ended up crying when he loses and I fear that it could mental damage. He always gives 110% never give up. We tried to explain that most children who have been fighting it for a maximum of 4 years, when how to do that for 3 months. He won a medal in 2 of 4 tournaments. I do not want to push it and end up hating the sport, or worse to get through these emotions. If to continue or wait until more mature?

Most people who have experienced these emotions to the struggles of youth, I have mainly included. You to learn that, even if it is a competitive sport, which continues to enjoy the fight, stay active and be sociable.Taking losses with victories, coping and on.That movement advice they gave me and I struggled in high school and college and found the best advice I ever gave.
